Welcome to LO + CO Files!
LO + CO Files was created by two friends from Florida who have a history that dates back to the Kindergarten playground. The heart of this blog can be traced back to the many play dates we had growing up where we would dream up all the possible endeavors we could take on together. We both have two children and are neighbors (don’t we all daydream about being neighbors with our best friends?!)
As stay at home/work from home mom’s of young children it is so easy to get swept up in the daily responsibilities of day to day life and feel exhausted at the end of the day. We hope to use this site as a way to set aside time for ourselves to be creative and share the stories that have continued to strengthen our friendship for 20+ years. Thanks for reading!
The Ladies Behind LO + CO
Lauren (LO) has two little girls that keep her on her toes but bring so much joy into her life. She graduated from the University of Florida (Go Gators!) with a degree in Health Education. She and her husband worked together as lifeguards through High School and started dating in college. They will be celebrating 5 years of marriage this year. She loves style (aka shopping), being creative, and the Florida Keys. Her husband has big plans to retire in the FL Keys and open a tourist stop called “What the Shell?” and she will happily let him just so she could live there. Lauren loves spending quality time with her husband and kids, sneaking spinach into everything her kids eat (and maybe her husband too) and the hunt for a good deal.
Courtney (CO) is married and a mother to two children: daughter S and son J. Her hubby, Brian, is a general contractor, which allows them to move every few years and revive the ugliest of homes on the block. Her children are the loves of her life. She graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Textiles and Product Design. She enjoys all things design (interior, architectural, landscape and fashion).
